About the Founder

Ben Leadbetter
Ben is the founder of The Lumen Collective (TLC), a finance practice dedicated to helping businesses access the highest quality financial expertise. His mission is to give businesses data-led finance solutions to solve complex and strategic challenges, allowing entrepreneurs and business leaders to focus on innovative and business objectives.

Ben is a Chartered Accountant (ACA-ICAEW), a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA-CIOT), and Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (FCT-ACT). He has extensive experience advising founders, boards and leadership teams on complex areas such as finance & business strategy, tax planning, international expansion and financial risk management.

Prior to establishing TLC, Ben worked in practice with Grant Thornton and PwC, as well as holding senior leadership roles at FinTechs including Corpay and Revolut. This breadth of experience allows him to combine comprehensive technical knowledge with a desire for forward-thinking technology and commercial solutions.
