the collective

The Lumen Collective (TLC) is an ICAEW-regulated fractional finance practice based in London, founded by Ben Leadbetter (ACA, CTA, FCT), with senior experience drawn from PwC, Grant Thornton, Revolut and Corpay. We bring accounting, tax and treasury under one roof.

We work as embedded members of your team, not as outside advisers producing reports from a distance. Whether you need a Finance Director, CFO, Treasurer or Group Financial Controller, we put the right level of seniority beside you, backed by specialists and technology so the work gets done properly. Alongside ongoing finance leadership we take on technical projects. Tax advisory and compliance, treasury and FX risk, financial modelling for fundraising and capital planning, statutory accounts under FRS 102 and IFRS, data analytics and finance-side deal support. See our services.

We run an AI-native model. Technology handles the routine work, so more of your budget goes on judgement and problem solving rather than admin. Subscription plans start from £2,500 per month. Technical projects are typically £5,000 to £10,000 with fixed pricing agreed upfront.

TLC is supervised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Ben is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers.
